The Guidance and Counseling Department aims at providing guidance and assistance to students to develop a healthy life skills. The objective of this department is to support students of the school to cope up with challenges and enhance their personality by making them not just excellent achievers but also good human beings with understanding and regard for human values. This would include attention to a healthy self-esteem, self-awareness and a sense of responsibility, to self and others.
The students can directly access the counselor if they feel the urgent need for support to get through challenges related to academic, personal, social or emotional. The teachers are also a source of referral for students to the counselor if they monitor any disturbances or misconduct of behavior in the students. Parents can seek the extra help of the counselor either directly through the school contacts or share their concerns with the class teacher who would then guide them to seek help from the counselor.

Personal and Social Development is an integral component of the School Guidance and Counseling curriculum. The School Counselor provides classroom guidance and deliver group counseling for students on topics such as self-awareness, self-management, interpersonal skills, skills for building relationships, expectations of behavior, study skills and how to manage them positively for the subjective and psychological well-being of students.
To impart life skills with a purpose of empowering and facilitating the students in order to help them know their way towards greater confidence and effectiveness.
Help students set realistic academic and career goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
Provide guidance to the grade 10 students with subject choices and help the grade 11 and 12 students by providing them efficient and professional career counseling.
